4.4.2 Release Question

Hi all,

There was some discussion about performance issues on 4.4.1 relative to
some earlier version. What is the status of these relative to 4.4.2? I
need to decide if I should update a large production cluster from 4.0.1
which is working just dandy. Mostly, I do not want to get too far off
the release stream as it can be painful to if changes break Perl
Mapscript of mapfiles.
