QueryMap Object in Mapscript

Hello. I would like to make a question. Is there any reason for not
including functions for managing the QueryMap object from Mapscript? I mean,
changing its attributes, etc. I needed a pair of functions for setting the
size and color from PHPMapscript and I added them, but it sounded strange to
me that these were not included, so I wonder if there is any issue I don't
know about.
