Modern OGR versions should be ok, but if there is actually a problem
with the mappostgis.c implementation in MapServer 4.8 it would
be much appreciated if you could submit a detailed bug report on
the issue.

We certainly don't want MapServer 4.8 shipping without
good built-in PostGIS support.
