Bart,

I can't recall if the PHP maintainers responded or not.  I haven't started
on the work, but hopefully when I come out with my first draft RFC the
PHP folks will comment as well and we can establish how it would make it
in there.  I would be willing to incorporate it into PHP myself if it isn't
too onerous and if the PHP maintainer don't object.
