Sorry about that. There wasn't anything suspicious in the patch, nothing
obvious
and things compiled ok on my non-windows development box...

Note that to get 4.10.0-beta2 to compile on Windows with msvc2003 FrankW

had to commit some syntax changes to mapimagemap.c in CVS HEAD.
