Tamas,

Would you be willing to flesh out some details of how a feature caching
adapter for work according to RFC 22? Covering details like what happens
to the cache when the spatial extent, or other constraints change? What
it would look like in the mapfile, etc?

I'm just trying to get a bit more comfortable that the scheme will work
comfortable for a few use cases.

If you could do the same for other use cases that would also be helpful.

It *seems* to me that as soon as the spatial extent, filters or other
constraints were changed in any way it would pretty much invalidate
a feature cache in an adapter.

Also, would there be a practical way to have a layer setup to use a
feature caching adapter when doing queries, but to avoid it for rendering?

Best regards,
