Just got back today from a short vacation...

I'll look into some of the latest issues brought up by Tamas today,
but I am quite confident that they can be ironed out while keeping the
current design, then I'll call for a voting session tomorrow.

I can provide perl pies to help those (like Steve) who have made
significant changes to the code and need to integrate them with mines.
