Remove main symbol swatch for classified layer?

Hello everyone,

Does anyone know how to remove main symbol swatch for classified layer?

See my problem (with "Coyote Encounters") at 
http://www.coyotebytes.org/map/www/

When you classify a layer, the symbol swatch for the TOP class (in this 
case,"Human"), gets assigned to be the primary symbol swatch (in this 
case, "Coyote Encounters").

Does anyone have any experience with forcing a transparent (or otherwise 
empty) swatch for the primary class header?
