[mapserver-dev] fastcgi connections to Oracle and SDE on Windows

Devs,

I know, nasty subject(s), but I just successfully used mod_fcgid with  
Apache2.2.8 on Windows with a PostGIS connection in MapServer 5.0.2  
(phew!).  However, when I try an ORACLE connection I get this error in  
the Apache logs:

  	 [Thu Jul 10 18:51:55 2008] [warn] (OS 109)The pipe has been  
ended.  :
mod_fcgid: get overlap result error
   	[Thu Jul 10 18:51:55 2008] [error] [client 127.0.0.1] Premature  
end of script
headers: mapserv.exe, referer: http://127.0.0.1/fastcgi/viewer-index.html

Another MS4W user reported with same error when trying mod_fcgid with  
SDE (http://lists.maptools.org/pipermail/ms4w-users/2007-May/ 
000811.html).  It seems to be a problem with the libmap.dll files for  
FastCGI connections to Oracle and SDE.   Does anyone have any ideas?    
(i think we're in uncharted territory here)
