Hi,
I would like to bring your attention to a new application development
framework called Fusion available under an MIT license. Fusion has
been in the works for a while but is now (finally) publicly accessible
thanks to OSGeo providing us with a new home.
The main web site for Fusion is http://trac.osgeo.org/fusion. We are
just moving into our new home there, so there is still lots left to
do. But basic information about Fusion and how to get it are
available so I encourage you to check it out if you are interested.
A quick description from the main page:
"Fusion is a web-mapping application development framework for
MapGuide OS and MapServer built primarily in JavaScript. It allows non-
spatial web developers to build rich mapping applications quickly and
easily. Using widgets, developers are able to add, remove, or modify
functionality using standard-compliant HTML and CSS. Fusion does not
require any proprietary browser plug-ins and works in all the major
browsers on Windows, Mac, and Linux."
Cheers
Paul
