We have talked about a 5.2 freeze date and release but without any 
formal motion. So I'd like to make things official.


Motion:

As per http://mapserver.gis.umn.edu/development/rfc/ms-rfc-34, I motion 
that we elect Steve Lime as release manager for the release of MapServer 
5.2, with a feature freeze on or around May 30, 2008 and a final release 
in early July. The exact dates should be set and made public early in 
the release period by the release manager as part of his release plan.


Steve's +1 vote on this motion will confirm that he accepts the job (he 
already confirmed that to me off-list).

... and I start with my +1 vote.
