[mapserver-dev] Scalebar transparency and documenation issues

Hi All,

In the mapfile documentation the SCALEBAR transparent property seems to be
deprecated, as it says:

TRANSPARENT [on|off]

Should the background color for the scalebar be transparent. This flag is
now deprecated in favor of declaring transparency within
*OUTPUTFORMAT*<http://mapserver.org/mapfile/outputformat.html#outputformat>declarations.
Default is off.

Deprecated since version 4.6.


However it seems invalid, and the transparency is affected by this parameter
in msEmbedScalebar.

What's the score with the transparency currently in this regard? Shouldn't
we expose the transparent property in the MapScript interface or we have
some other workaround to set it up?.
