Well, I for one am done with big additions that break backwards compatibility, just clean up and small
stuff left so I'd support it. No objection here...

Subject: [mapserver-dev] Feature freeze and 6.0 release schedule

Hi Devs,

We've had a few failed attempts at setting a feature freeze date and
entering release mode for 6.0 and I'll try to make another one.

Would anyone see a problem with a with a Feb 28 feature freeze date, and
entering release mode after that date, which would lead to a release
sometimes in April? Are you able to get all current 6.0 developments
done by that date? If there are no objections then I'll make a motion to
that effect in the coming days.

I guess that means the Montreal code sprint falls right in the middle of
the release period, maybe that will be a good time to hammer out
important issues that may be found in the first beta(s).

Daniel
