+1 on both of these. If these are deprecated or going away in the future
then NOW is a good time to make that so or wait for 7.0.
That said, Daniel needs to draw a line in the sand as far as
non-critical changes so we can release this. Beta 4 was the last planned
Beta, I thought, so we are working overtime at this point. But these
changes should clean up the code and simplify the docs so that is a big
plus on those fronts.
