[mapserver-dev] Encoding on WFS served from PostgreSQL by Mapserver.

I'm using Mapserver to serve WFS from a PostgreSQL database.
The database uses UTF8 encoding.
When I view the tables all characters are correctly displayed,
but when Mapserver serves them as WFS all non ASCII characters are 
mangled. How do I stop this? Do I have to set the encoding of the data 
somewhere in the Mapserver mapfile?
