Answered my own question. It isn't and should just mirror the setFilter() method.

This isn't supported already? GEOMTRANSFORMs are expressions.

Hi Alan,

In the Mapscript section, should we add a mention that we'll have to add the ability to get/set the layer-level GEOMTRANSFORM values? I presume this was implied, but better explicitly mention it.

Also, I'd suggest adding links to the docs of the two GEOS algorithms in section 3 (the links that you sent to Jan in this thread earlier).

And finally, the numbering of sections 6 to 9 is off by one.
