[mapserver-dev] Streamline msGetGDALGeoTransform()

Hi devs,

are there any objections to removing the "extent" metadata lookup in
msGetGDALGeoTransform()? The desired behavior can be achieved using the
layer->extent keyword anyway which was added later. I think its
confusing and potentially leads into unwanted behavior mainly because of
the usage of all 4 namespaces ("MFCO") where e.g. wms_extent would take
precedence over wcs_extent if present regardless of the actual service used.

If I don't hear any objection I'm going to remove it while still being
at the code sprint on Thursday.
