[mapserver-dev] Projection guru opinion needed...

Hi all: Normally this would have fallen to Frank... There's a  patch for solving projection artifacts at the poles that I could use help evaluating. It's at:

  https://github.com/mapserver/mapserver/issues/4864

Any help appreciated.
