[mapserver-dev] Performance issue with MS 7.x

Hello,

We realized last week a performance benchmark between MS7.0 and MS6.5. We
found that this method [1] could be a performance problem as it is called 6
times in MS 6.5 to 587,322 times in MS 7.0.

Do you know why this have been changed?

Pierre Mauduit, the dev who worked on this wrote a document (in french) and
could give you more information (hope he subscribed to this list).
