[mapserver-dev] MapServer - how to sponsor the mapServer project

Hi Astrid: That's interesting (exciting) news. I don't suppose there is information on how other projects handle this anywhere? MapServer doesn't have a parent entity to hold and distribute funds. I suppose OSGeo could fall into that category and I have another idea to pursue locally.

at FOSS4G I tallked to Lars Schyllberg about MapServer sponsoring.

It would be great if you could provide a generalized way how 
people/companies/organizations can sponsor MapServer.

Could you as MapServer PSC work on this and provide the information at 
the MapServer webside?

Looks like some people would like to sponsor the project.
