MapServer Demo prob

I'm trying to run the demo on windows 2000 with IIS 5.0. When  I try to
initialize the mapserver I see the following message  returned:

    msSaveImage(): Unable to access file.  (c:
\inetpub\wwwroot\ms_demo\DEMO966020405744.gif)

Any ideas on what might need to be fixed?
