[mapserver-users] How to create a simple map file

Hi,
I am new to Mapserver. I want to integrate Image Web Server 1.6 and Mapserver. I have downloaded the Mapserver 3.4, installed and it is working well. Now I want to create a map file using my own data. I would like to use any scripts(like avenue, VB) to create the map file from the ArcView. 

I have downloaded the Ross' scripts but, some reasons it is not working properly, Any advice in this regard is really appreciated.
