The National Operational Hydrologic Remote Sensing Center has put together a
MapServer site to access operational reference information for the National
Weather Service. Of interest to the general MapServer crowd may be the use
of JavaScript to set up one click zooming/panning/querying (rather than
using drop downs and radio buttons to select modes).
JavaScript is also used to control the form target location so that query
results can be directed to either
a new window or to a second frame. This site automatically detects screen
resolution to redirect the user to an interface best suited to their screen
size. Any critical comments are welcomed and appreciated.
