[mapserver-users] 3.4 demo and symbol.sym file

I'm trying to get the map server demo working with the 3.4 release but
I've run into a problem creating symbol.sym from the various files as
advised in the getting started pages. Judging from the activity on the
mailing list archives I'm not the first to ask this question but I
couldn't find any answers.
