[mapserver-users] latitude-longitude files

I'm looking for information on how to deal with mapserver's projection facilities. I'm working with files imported from mapinfo in latitude/longitude format, and I discovered too late that it's being interpreted as in meters. Everything works fine, but the scale calculations do not have meaning. How can I fix this without creating the SHP files again?
