[mapserver-users] AUTO Text Rotation and Projections

The rotation computations are carried out AFTER the feature has been
projected, clipped and mapped to image coordinates. These calculations
are highly sensitive to your data- garbage in, garbage out.

The rotation of text carried out when labelling lines with AUTO label
rotation seems to be calculated in the native coordinate system of the
data rather that in the projected coordinate system. The result is
interesting, but not aesthetically pleasing :)
