[Mapserver-users] Configuring the demo_init.html & demo.map files

Thanks all for supplying the help on the makefile.vc. However, I thought =
it best to rty to get the demo running first and then look into more =
detail later. However, I am having trouble with the MapServer Demo =
Application Installation Instructions.

I have Win2000 and therefore have the c:/Inetpub/wwwroot/ as my =
localhost dircetory. I make the appropriste changes in my demo_init.html =
file and type http://localhost/demo_init.html and this page runs fine. =
However, when I 'slap' the Initialize button my IE says "The Page cannot =
be found" ...blah, blah,blah - the white page with the read print. Here =
is my demo_init.html file -=20

The only changes I made to my demo.map file is -=20

 # change this value to match your setup
   WMS_ONLINERESOURCE "http://localhost/demo_init.html"=20

I placed all the dlls in the winnt/system32/ , the mapserv.exe in the =
c:/Inetpub/wwwroot/cgi-bib/ and the other *.exe files in the c:/winnt/
