G'day,
Is it possible to implement a 'find' capability in a basic MapServer application using MapServer as a CGI and HTML/JavaScript? I'd like the user to be able to type in the name of an office, and have the map zoom to that location.
I suspect it is possible using MapScript with PHP or Perl, however I have little experience with these languages.
I've recently installed MapServer for windows 3.6.3 (pre-compiled with gif/gdal support on Win2K). The installation's fine, the demo works ok, and I've worked through the tutorials.
Any advice or examples would be appreciated.
