[mapserver-users] remote access to ./cgi-bin/mapserv

Hi all,

Does anybody ever tried to access mapserv on an other (remote) server?

The idea is to access one mapserv installation on one server(e.g. MServ) 
for several webpages on other machines(e.g. 1Serv, 2Serv, 3Serv).

The project data and /tmp/ image files should be stored on one 
machine(e.g. 2Serv), not on the mapserv providing one (MServ)).
The 'mapserv server' (MServ) gets the configuration from the remote 
server (2Serv), generates the images and stores it into a 2Serv/tmp/  folder
with 777 read/write/exe access.

What configuration/compilation is needed on MServ and how to access the 
mapserv-cgi?
