Actually, this change was made into the 3.7dev tree only... I applied
the same fix to the 3.6 branch this morning, but it was too late for the
3.6 release, so it will only be part of a future 3.6.1 release.  We may
have win32 binaries with this minor fix (and a few others) on our site
in a couple of days.
