Unfortunately the FAQ on our website dates from the PHP3 days and lots
of the information in there may not apply to the current version... I
posted detailed instructions to compile PHP MapScript 3.6 on RH7.2 in
the MapServer Wiki yesterday... hopefully you'll find some answers to
some of your questions in there:
