You must not use GIF pictures even for input if your MapServer is not
compiled with GIF support.

Hi,
Now downloaded from mapserver page
a.. ms36png_gdal_pg_wms.zip: Outputs PNG, or JPEG images; input includes
shapefiles, many OGR supported vector datasets, GDAL supported raster files,
PostgreSQL 7.2.1/PostGIS 0.7.1 geospatial databases; TrueType font support;
OGC WMS compliant; Proj.4 projection support.
and ms35_libs.zip <---- into c:\winnt\system32
a.. on windows xp this ms-3.6 works fine, now i don't know why on windows
2000 have it an error
msLoadMap(): General error message. Undefined symbol "symbols/ctyhwy.gif"
in class 0 of layer ctyrdln3_anno.
i've changed the path to "C:\Program Files\Apache
Group\Apache\htdocs\itasca\symbols\ctyhwy.gif" but didn't work
only in the next symbol definition don't make error
