Debbie,
That's very odd. I just downloaded the same package and it works on my
computer. Are you by any chance working with PHP/MapScript? The
binaries in the MapServer site weren't compiled with PHP/MapScript
support. Try downloading the binaries from DM Solutions' site:
http://www2.dmsolutions.ca/mapserver/dl/
I'll look more into it as I think you're not the first one to mention
this.

Subject: [mapserver-users] Win32 and WMS Client problems
Hi all,
I'm really making progress with my application, but now I'm having
difficulty with WMS Client on WinNT. I downloaded the Mapserver
binaries from http://mapserver.gis.umn.edu/win32binaries.html. I'm using
this one:
ms35gif_gdal_wms.zip: This one's got input support from GDAL (and OGR)
as well as WMS client (and server) compliance.
I made sure to download the libwww DLL package as specified, and put
all dlls into winnt/systems32 directory. But I get this error even
though when I do mapserv.exe -v it indicates that WMS Client is
supported:
MapServer Error in msDrawWMSLayer(): WMS CLIENT CONNECTION support is
not available. in c:\InetPub\wwwroot/php/itis/itisfeature.php on line
244
Any ideas anyone??
Thanks,
D. Pagurek
