Hi,
I have prepared a new mapserver-3.6.0-beta2.tar.gz package with the
latest source in the 3.6 release branch. Quite a bit of testing has
been going on and no major problems have been reported since the
previous 3.6.0-beta1 release last week, so I think we'll be good for a
formal 3.6 release next week.
You can download the source from:
http://www2.dmsolutions.ca/mapserver/dl/mapserver-3.6.0-beta2.tar.gz
And win32 binaries from:
http://www2.dmsolutions.ca/mapserver/dl/mapserver-3.6.0-beta1-win32-php4.1.2-libwww.zip
Note that I had made a mistake and packaged the wrong source in the
mapserver-3.6.0-beta1.tar.gz last week... it contained the source from
the 3.7-dev branch instead of the one from the 3.6 branch... so anyone
who experienced problems (likely GD-related problems) with the source in
that archive should upgrade to the new 3.6.0-beta2 version.
Other than that big mistake from my part, the changes since 3.6.0-beta1
are mostly minor fixes, plus a few last minute changes:
----------------------
- PostGIS: Added Sean Gillies <sgillies at i3.com>'s patch for
"using unique <column name>". Added "using SRID=#" to specify a
spatial reference for an arbitrary sql query.
- WMS Capabilities XML: Return grouped/ungrouped layers in an order
closer to the natural mapfile order (bug 154)
- Integrated patch from Tim Mackey to support ROSA applet parameters
via mapserv CGI, see:
