[mapserver-users] Just want to update the map image

In this approach you don't need framed page or java applet:
You can define directly map image this way:

<img src="http://yourdomain/cgi-bin/mapserv?map=/path/to/map&layer=..."

After redefining its url only image is redrawn. But you need more javascript
code to put all url parameters together.
