[mapserver-users] PHP/Mapscript vs. CGI

Hi listers,

I am able to query and highlight the result using the cgi way like so 
(lines split for readability):

myserver/cgi-bin/mapserv?map=/mypath/mymap.map 
&mode=itemnquerymap
&qlayer=mylayer
&map_mylayer_filter=/2978-2-286|2978-2-285|2978-2-287/
&mapxy=shapes

or:

myserver/scripts/mapserv.exe?map=mypath/mymap.map 
&mode=itemnquerymap
&qlayer=mylayer&map_mylayer_filteritem=FLUR
&map_mylayer_filter=/^5/

But - how do I manage that with PHP/mapscript? I have been searching 
the archive, found lots of different opinions but none of the 
examples will work for me.

Mapserver version ist early 3.6 dev, PHP 4.06
