[mapserver-users] creating shapefile

i successfully make a simple web application on GIS from the GMAP demo, i have found out a particular fuction in mapscript creating point shapefile using the createpoint function. now my question is. is there a function in mapscript for createline shapefile or createpoly or something like that...
