why are you trying to execute a perl script from a php script? Use one
or the other.
PHP has built in dbase functions (well, provided you compiled PHP
--with-dbase, etc.) and they work quite well.
You can use Xbase.pm if using Perl, and that too works quite well. Of
course, that is not working for you. Did you install Xbase.pm yourself?
Did it pass all the tests as it was installed, perhaps via CPAN? How
about writing just a small, simple perl script that uses Xbase and see
if that works by itself?
