[Mapserver-users] Join in 4.0 displays field name, not values, from DBF

Using a one-to-many join, I am unable to retrieve any data from my linked
DBF file. The query is basically ignoring any fields I place in my JOIN
template, which is, simply:
<li> [SHEET_NAME]: [DATA]<br>,

where DATA is a valid field name. The query results in a bunch of records,
but also a bunch of [DATA] strings, not the values for the DATA field. As
well, I have determined that the link is working, because I see as many
records returned as there are records in the DBF.

If I add a bogus field name (eg. DATA2), it simply displays [DATA2] instead
of [DATA], which leads me to believe that it is not even trying to get the
data from the DBF.

I am generating the DBFs using Excel, saving as DBF 4 (and I have tried 3 as
well).
