[Mapserver-users] 16-bit RGB raster images.

Hello,

I want to use 16-bit RGB raster images by converting them to colormapped format. The mapserver documentation refers to the on the fly conversion of 24 bit RGB raster images to 8-bit colormapped format but does not give any specific information. 

Does someone know how to do this?
