[Mapserver-users] Mapserver application launched

Hi list,

due to the help of a couple of you and a bit of work from my side, I 
finally launched my mapserver application.

For those who are interested in it they can see the map engine working 
under (please copy the complete URL into your browser to get the correct 
results):

As the application is only a small part of a bigger project, I advise 
interested people in starting under http://geodata.grid.unep.ch/ . From 
here you can search in a database that holds more than 400 variables, 
mostly (national and regional) statistics covering the whole world and some 
geospatial data sets as well. After selecting your time frame, you can view 
the selected data set as a map, a graph, a data table or you can just 
download it.

As the map module is a bit (too?) complex, it will take a couple of seconds 
to understand the full functionality. Just browse and see...

I assume that there are still some bugs, so any discoveries and in general 
any comments are most appreciated...
