[Mapserver-users] perl-mapscript compilation error... did I miss something in the archives?

MS 3.7, Linux RH8.0, Kernel 2.4.18-24, perl 5.8.  I do a 'perl 
Makefile.PL' followed by a 'make' and here's what I get...

[root at vne-dhcp-047 perl]# make

Where did I step off the cliff?
