Hallo Dan,

i already produced some nice gtiff with Mapserver 4.0 using 10000x10000 
pixel for an area of 500x500 meters.
but watch out, the greater the pixel size the longer mapserver works on it 
 ;-)   (but just a few minutes).

Anyone know the upper limit to output map size in pixels from 
Mapserver?  Is there one?  I'm using v4.0.
