Omry -

You just did just what you want!
=20
If you make a MapServer request and use the "mode=3Dmap" command, the
generated map image is streamed directly to the client and no temp files
are involved.
=20
The WMS interface does the same thing.

Subject: [Mapserver-users] Integrating map server into my own client
application - Clean HTT P Get interface
=20
Hello.
I would like to integrate MapServer into my own client application.
Specifically, I would like to extend my own existing map client (java
based) to support raster maps using MapServer.
What I need to know is, if there is an http interface to MapServer,
which does not leave temp maps on the disk, which I can use.
My client will keep the state, and will request maps for a specific
extent and zoom.
What I am looking for, it something like=20
http://omry/cgi-bin/mapserv.exe?map=3D/raster.map&mode=3Dmap?img.x=3D32.3=
&img.
y=3D32.4&img.width=3D0.5&img.height=3D0.5&pixels.width=3D400&pixels.width=
=3D400
=20
Or in human language:
I need to specify the map x, y width and height, and also the resulting
image pixels size.
=20
Anyone?
