[Mapserver-users] adding shapefiles in .map file

Scott,

Adding a shape file may only work if you are adding a Shape file in the
general vicinity of the sample dataset extents.

So basically check your extents in your shape file and confirm that they are
inside the extents of the demo extents in the demo.map file.
