map EXTENT

That did it. The mapserver documentation states that I
should be able to leave the EXTENT attribute emepty
and it will extrapolate one. However when I try this
mapserver throws an error: "Warning: [MapServer
Error]: msCalculateScale(): Invalid image extent,
minx=-1.000000, miny=-1.000000, maxx=-1.000000,
maxy=-1.000000. in ...". Is there and available work
around? I'm currently using Mapserver 4.2.2, PHP4.3.8
on Win XP and IIS.
