current world political boundaries and cities, iso 3166?

Hi all,

I get so busy programming that I haven't been staying
up to date on available datasets.  Anybody have a
recommendation for up-to-date world political boundaries
and cities in an OGR format for MapServer which includes
an ISO 3166 (ish) 2-letter country name attribute?  Free
or commercial.  WFS would work for me as well if anybody
knows of such a beast.
