arabic labels in mapserver

I cc this to the mapserver list as there are more people there and they
might have an answer for you.

I never followed up on that issue as the contract never came through.
But what I do know is that you need at least these elements:

1) a truetype font that supports arabic
2) mapserver to support right to left rendering of text strings
    or you might be able to reverse the character in the string
    to fake the rendering direction.

Does anyone have more information on this?
