Mapserver 4.4 CGI segfaults

I think that the problem is in using the php-regex library even for the cgi,
i have actually solved the problem with a double make process, one for the
cgi and one for the php/mapscript stuff.
I'm experiencing this problem in 4.4.0 and in 4.4.1.
