[Mapserver-users] 24bit Raster Image

I am using the MS binary.  In the description in says the output
supports GDAL.   My mapserv -v:

Mapserver version 4.0 OUTPUT=GIF OUTPUT=PNG OUTPUT=JPEG OUTPUT=WBMP
OUTPUT=PDF OUTPUT=SWF SUPPORTS=PROJ SUPPORTS=FREETYPE
SUPPORTS=WMS_SERVER SUPPORTS=WMS_CLIENT SUPPORTS=MFS_SERVER
SUPPORTS=WFS_CLIENT INPUTePPL7 INPUT=POSTGIS INPUT=OGR INPUT=GDAL

Richie,

The most likely reason you would get this error is if your mapserver
is built without TIFF or GDAL support.  Can you report your "mapserv -v"
output? Does the file work fine with other imaging apps?
